Can I take a break?

Each adventure has at least one pause point - allowing you to pause the game for a rest without affecting your time. Stop for a drink or even finish the game another day!

How do I play against a friend?

If you want to race against a friend, you’ll each need to play the game on a different device. Select different player numbers when you start the game - this will ensure you each take a different route through the same clues. The start point and end point are the same for every player, so you’ll meet your rivals at the end!

What if I get stuck?

If you get stuck, you can get a hint or skip the question entirely. Doing so will impact your score at the end!

Does my spelling matter?

Yes! Each answer must be typed in exactly right - although it doesn’t matter if you use upper or lower case.

Can I play without an internet connection?

You need a live internet connection throughout the game in order to receive each new clue.

How long will the game take?

Each game has a time estimate in the Stories section…but that’s only an estimate! If you have a big team of experienced puzzlers and you run between clues you might finish quicker than the guide time. But if you play on your own, take your time and enjoy your surroundings you might take a bit longer!
